Realme X50 5G is scheduled to launch on January 7th in China alongside the Realme X50 Youth Edition. It is already confirmed the Snapdragon 765G SoC will power the phone, have support for VOOC fast-charging 4.0, offer a two-day battery life and rock a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Now, full specifications of the Realme X50 5G have surfaced on Weibo and are being compared to the recently launched OPPO Reno 3. The Realme X50 5G will come with a 120Hz refresh rate, dual-punch hole design on the front, 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor and a 13MP 5x hybrid optical zoom lens. According to the leaked Realme X50 specifications, the smartphone is said to sport a 6.67-inch full HD+ (2,400x1,080) display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 5 protection and JDI LCD panel rather than an AMOLED display. It is expected to come in three variants: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB internal storage that might be further expandable. In terms of optics, the Realme X50 5G is said to feature a quad-camera setup comprising of a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 13-megapixel lens with 5x optical zoom, a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, it is said to house a 32MP Samsung's GD1 sensor and an 8MP wide-angle lens.
The Realme X50 5G is likely to run on Android 10 with ColorOS 7 custom skin on top. A 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support fuels the handset. Connectivity features onboard include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and Dual-frequency GPS.
As for the Realme X50 price, the leak suggests the phone will start at RMB 2,199 (around Rs 22,500) for the 6GB + 128GB variant, RMB 2,499 (around Rs 26,600) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, and RMB 2,799 (around Rs 28,600) for the 8GB + 256GB model.
