Redmi 12 5G named the top selling 5G phone on Amazon’s Day 1 sale

Without mentioning the exact number of the units, Xiaomi has revealed that the newly announced Redmi 12 5G was completely sold out within the first day of the sale on Amazon India.
As per the company, the orders for this device were received from all corners of the country, encompassing over 9500 distinct pin codes across India.
Redmi 12 5G was launched at a starting price of Rs 11,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It comes in two more variants of 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB priced at Rs 13,499 and Rs 15,499, respectively.

The Redmi 12 5G smartphone features a glass back and flat edges coated with a metallic paint finish. The camera setup is organized into distinct rings, lending the phones a sleek and uncomplicated look.

Positioned on the right side of the device are the power button and volume keys. At the bottom, you’ll spot the USB Type-C port and the speaker grille. On the top edge of the frame, you’ll find a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as an IR blaster.
