Redmi K100 is set to launch in China on October 28th as the brand’s new performance-focused smartphone. Ahead of the launch, Redmi has been teasing key details about the K100, including its chipset, battery, and more. Now, the Redmi K100 has appeared on Geekbench, giving us an idea of what to expect from its performance.
A Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M786BC has appeared on Geekbench. This model number is associated with the Redmi K100. Here, the smartphone is running the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which has already been officially confirmed. It’s a flagship chipset from October 2024, but it’s still a powerful one capable of delivering peak performance speeds.
In this early Geekbench listing, the Redmi K100 has scored 2705 in the single-core test and 9885 in the multi-core test. These are very high numbers and flagship-level, indicating that the Redmi K100 will be able to deliver high-speed performance even without the latest chipset. The Redmi K100 is also teased to launch as a gaming-focused smartphone with dedicated features.
The smartphone is said to be the first to feature the D2 dedicated gaming graphics card, which reduces average power by 1.1W in Honor of Kings with ultra-high graphics at 144fps. Redmi also claims the phone can natively support 165fps in over 40 games and over 100 games with frame interpolation for uninterrupted gameplay. Up front, you’re getting a large 6.83-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Backing up all this is a massive 10,000mAh battery, which should hold up longer than a day even with heavy usage.
The Redmi K100 launch is only two days away, so we’ll soon get to know all about the smartphone. What we can expect is flagship-level performance and gaming from the Redmi K100. If you need a powerful phone dedicated to gaming and a large battery, the Redmi K100 could be worth waiting for.
