Redmi K70 series already debuted in China and included the Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro, and Redmi K70e. However, the brand is also rumoured to be working on an Ultra model, the Redmi K70 Ultra. The flagship is tipped to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. Now, tipster DigitalChatStation has tipped more specifications of the phone in a new post on Weibo.

Redmi K70 Ultra details tipped

  • According to DCS, the Redmi K70 Ultra is tipped to come with a 1.5K 8T LTPO display.
  • The handset will come with DC Dimming support and peak brightness levels probably similar to the predecessor. To recall, the Redmi K60 Ultra ships with 2600nits peak brightness and 2880Hz high-frequency PWM Dimming.

  • DCS notes that the current prototype of the device is being tested with MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC and this will be paired with 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
  • DCS suggests the Redmi K70 Ultra could be the first smartphone to debut with 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM.

Although DCS hasn’t mentioned in the Weibo post, the Redmi K70 Ultra could come with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, similar to the predecessor. The Dimensity 9300 SoC is seen on the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro in both China and Global variants. The chipset will be paired with Mali-G720 Immortalis MP12 GPU.

  • The Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support. There might be wireless charging support.
  • The handset is likely to come with a 50MP Sony IMX LYTIA 800 primary sensor with OIS and this will be accompanied by a large 108MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
  • The display size of the phone could be 6.67 inches and will feature an OLED panel with a 2K resolution.

Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to launch in China very soon and there are chances it might be rebranded as Xiaomi 14T Pro for global markets much like the predecessor.
