Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 12 4G globally alongside the other smartphones in the series, which include the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and the Redmi Note 12 5G. The company has also unveiled the Redmi Watch 3. The Redmi Note 12 4G is the first 4G-enabled smartphone in the series, and it has been launched with a 120Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset, 50MP main camera, and much more.

The Redmi Note 12 4G has been launched in four storage variants – 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB – and starts at EUR 199 (approx Rs 17,720). It comes in Mint Green, Onyx Gray, and Ice Blue colour options.

The Redmi Note 12 4G has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with a 120Hz high refresh rate. It sports a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary camera, ab 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. For the front camera, the company has equipped a 13MP selfie sensor.

The Redmi Note 12 4G runs Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
Regarding the connectivity options, the Redmi Note 12 4G has 2G, 3G, 4G, Dual Sim + microSD, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, IR Blaster, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, among others.

The Redmi Note 12 5G starting price in India is Rs 17,999 for the base model, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G starts at Rs 24,999, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G at Rs 29,999. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 12 4G is expected to be priced at around Rs 15,000 as it is a 4G-enabled handset. However, the company hasn’t confirmed that as of now.
