Alongside the Redmi Note 11 series, the company has also introduced the Redmi Watch 2, the successor to the Redmi Watch. It brings quite a few upgrades over the predecessor. For one, the display is now an AMOLED panel and it gets slightly bigger at 1.6 inches with a 63.7 percent screen-to-body ratio and ultra-thin bezels. The Redmi Watch 2 supports 100 watch faces and there’s also an always-on display in the mix as well. Like with its predecessor, we can speculate the Redmi Watch 2 may also find its way to the Indian market soon, probably alongside the Redmi Note 11 series.

The Redmi Watch 2 is priced at RMB 399 (around Rs 4,700) and comes in Blue, Black, and Ivory casing paired with Olive, Brown, and Pink strap colours. The Watch 2 is available to order and will be on sale in China from November 11th.

The Redmi Watch 2 sports a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with a 63.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, ultra-thin bezels, support for 100 watch faces, and an always-on display. It supports 117 fitness modes, including 17 professional workout types. It uses professional algorithms to monitor and analyse heart rate, training duration, and calorie consumption. There is SpO2 to track blood-oxygen levels, heart rate, and sleep monitoring. There is an upgraded low power-consumption chipset and battery management algorithm that promises up to 12 days of battery life and charges via a new magnetic charger. 

The Redmi Watch 2 weighs just 31 grams and is 5 ATM water-resistant. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, NFC for payments, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou to track runs and outdoor workouts. As said, the Redmi Watch 2 could launch in India but a specific timeline hasn’t been revealed by the company yet.
