The brand has revealed that the Redmi Watch and the Redmi Note 10S will be announced at the same event. The company has also made a dedicated page for the Redmi Watch on its official website. The Redmi Watch features a 1.4-inch IPS LCD with a square design like the Apple Watch, and a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. According to the company, the Redmi Watch ships with 120 watch faces in the Chinese market. The Redmi Watch weighs 35 grams and is water-resistant up to 50 meters.
Although it has been more than five months since the launch, Redmi hasn't revealed which chipset does the Redmi Watch use. What we do know is that the wearable runs on a proprietary OS. As for the connectivity, the smartwatch has Bluetooth v5.0 and NFC. The Near Field Communication allows users to make payments through the Redmi Watch.
The Redmi Watch has an optical heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, and an ambient light sensor. Thanks to these sensors, the Redmi Watch can track 7 workout activities include running, cycling, and indoor swimming. There is also 30-day heart rate tracking and sleep monitoring onboard. The smartwatch packs a 230mAh battery. According to the brand, the Redmi Watch can last 7 days on a single charge.
