Samsung is gearing up to launch its new range of Artificial Intelligence-powered televisions on April 17th in India. Following the recent launches of Galaxy AI for smartphones and Bespoke AI for home appliances, Samsung is now extending its AI technology to TVs. The company showcased its AI TV lineup at CES 2024 earlier this year and has commenced pre-orders for the AI TV lineup in India. Check out the details below:
Samsung begins pre-orders for its new AI TV lineup
- Consumers can pre-order Samsung’s new AI TVs by paying Rs 5,000 on Samsung’s official website and the Samsung Shop App.
- Customers who pre-order Samsung’s new AI-powered TVs will be eligible for early access special offers on their purchase.
- Consumers pre-ordering Neo QLED 8K Series (75 inches and above) can avail benefits worth Rs 15,000 on their purchase, while consumers pre-ordering Neo QLED 4K & OLED Series will receive benefits worth Rs 10,000 on their purchase.
Samsung Neo QLED TV features
Samsung’s latest NQ8 AI Gen3 SoC powers the Neo QLED TV series. The chipset claims to feature an NPU that is twice as fast as the previous-generation chipsets. The Neo QLED TVs will incorporate a variety of visual enhancement features, including 8K AI Upscaling Pro, which enhances regular content to upscale it to 8K resolution; AI Motion Enhancer Pro for smoother playback of sports content; and Real Depth Enhancer Pro, which enhances object sharpness to create more depth in the picture.
The AI TVs will run on Tizen OS 2024, which introduces Samsung Gaming Hub accessories, Mobile Smart Connect, Multi Control, 360 Audio, Vibrary, Samsung Daily+, and other features. The TVs will include functions like Audio Subtitles and Remote for Barrier Free access, designed to enable visually, audibly, or physically impaired users to enjoy content easily through smart AI features.
