Samsung Neo QLED TV features

  • The Neo QLED TV series is powered by Samsung’s latest NQ8 AI Gen3 SoC, which claims to feature an NPU that is twice as fast as the previous generation.
  • Samsung’s 2024 OLED TVs feature the S95D, which comes with an ultra-large 77-inch panel that is 20% brighter than its predecessors, has a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and is Pantone-validated.
  • The display comes with OLED glare-free technology, which preserves colours and reduces reflections even in daylight. Samsung has also introduced the S90D and S85D in various sizes, from 42-inch to 83-inch.
  • The smart TVs will feature an “Air Infinity” design with a thickness of only 12.9mm which will allow for an immersive viewing experience.
  • The series will come with a range of visual enhancement features, such as 8K AI Upscaling Pro, which sharpens regular content to upscale it to 8K resolution; AI Motion Enhancer Pro for better relays when displaying sports content; and Real Depth Enhancer Pro, which improves object sharpness to provide more depth.
  • The TVs claim to deliver life-like sound output, thanks to Q-Symphony (2024), which allows users to connect multiple wireless speakers and a soundbar to a TV or projector for perfect audio synchronisation. While the Active Voice Amplifier Pro uses AI to increase dialogue and voice volume on screen.
  • The devices operate on Tizen OS 2024, which comes with Samsung Gaming Hub accessories, Mobile Smart Connect, Multi Control, 360 Audio, Vibrary, Samsung Daily+, and more.
  • The new TVs also come with features that will allow visually, audibly, or physically impaired users to easily enjoy content through the use of smart AI features.
  • These features include Audio Subtitle, where the TV can use AI to verbally describe the text present in subtitles as they appear on the screen. Remote for Barrier Free is an app that uses intuitive button placements, tactile feedback, and colour feedback to allow easy TV control.
  • With Relumino Together Mode, the brand claims that people with low vision will be able to enjoy their favourite TV shows, movies, and games without the need for wearable hardware.
