- Samsung Galaxy F62 with model number SM-E625F is in the works
- The smartphone will launch in India
- Samsung Galaxy F62 specifications remain a mystery at the moment
Samsung Galaxy F62 India launch is on the cards, 91mobiles can exclusively confirm. As per a tip from Ishan Agarwal, the smartphone with model number SM-E625F is in the works and will launch in India at some point. However, there is no word yet on the exact launch date. The Samsung Galaxy F62 launch will likely take place in early 2021 given the moniker. To recall, Samsung launched its first-ever Galaxy F-series phone in India, called Galaxy F41 (review), in October. Samsung Galaxy F62 specifications and design are also unknown at the moment, but now that the tipster has revealed its existence, we should hear more about the device in the weeks to come.
It is also unclear whether the Samsung Galaxy F62 will launch in more markets apart from India. What we know so far is that the Galaxy F series is currently exclusive to the Indian market and is available on Flipkart, much like the Galaxy M series is sold on Amazon. To recall, the Samsung Galaxy F41 price in India starts at Rs 16,999 and its specifications include a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display, Exynos 9611 SoC, and a 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. For photography, the smartphone highlights triple cameras at the back with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP live-focus sensor. Up front, it has a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
The phone runs Android 10 OS with OneUI 2.5 custom layer on top to take care of the software side of things. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
Samsung Galaxy F62 won’t be the only phone in the series to launch in the coming months. Last month, we revealed live images of the Galaxy M12/ Galaxy F12 along with key specifications. We believe the Galaxy M12 and Galaxy F12 will essentially be the same device much like how the Galaxy F41 is a rebranded Galaxy M31s.
