Samsung Galaxy M20 listed on India support page, launch expected soon

Samsung India has listed the Galaxy M20 smartphone in its support pages, suggesting that the launch may not be too far away. First spotted by MySmartPrice, the official support page for the Galaxy M20 joins that of the Galaxy M10, which was made live earlier. Although these pages do not offer any specific details about the devices, the DS in the model number refers to the dual-SIM capabilities of the Galaxy M20 model.

The Samsung Galaxy M20 is expected to be the mid-table variant of the entry-segment portfolio, being priced around the Rs 15,000 mark. Up front, it is expected to house a 6.13-inch Infinity-V display — with a waterdrop notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. We at 91Mobiles have already exclusively reported about the Galaxy M20 smartphone, which is expected to house a single front-facing camera, and have a pulsating LED strip above it that adds a touch of premium aesthetics to the device.

We also caught wind of its rear casing, which appears to hint at a dual-camera setup. Reports indicate that the Galaxy M20 may come with a 13MP + 5MP setup, while the front will include an 8MP camera. This entire package is expected to be powered by the Samsung Exynos 7904 SoC, along with 3GB of RAM and a massive, 5,000mAh battery pack. Internal storage may be provided in multiple variants, including 32GB and 64GB models. The Galaxy M20, as per its pricing, will be up against the likes of the Realme 2 Pro and the Redmi Note 6 Pro, which do present more compelling specifications in terms of hardware.

That said, Samsung will look to cash in on its offline retail network and its wide brand presence across India to establish the M series of phones as a competent budget offering. The Samsung Galaxy M20 is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy M10 and M30, and seeing that the phones have already received certification and have their support pages live already, the launch of these devices cannot be too far into the future.
