• Samsung Galaxy S23 launched at Rs 74,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB model and Rs 79,999 for the 8GB + 256GB version.
  
• As a part of the discount, the handset is now available for Rs 64,999 for the base version and Rs 69,999 for the top-end model.
• Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy S23+ launched at Rs 94,999 for the 8GB + 256GB and Rs 1,04,999 for the 8GB + 512GB model.
• In addition to the price discount, Samsung India is offering a Rs 10,000 instant discount when paid through HDFC Bank Credit/Debit cards EMI and Credit Card Full Swipe.

• Display: The Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ have a 6.1-inch and 6.6-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Vision booster, punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, and 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate in Game mode.
• Processor: The phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno 740 GPU.
• RAM and Storage: The phones pack 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card.
• OS: The Galaxy S23 and S23+ run on Android 13 but have received the One UI 6 update in the country.

Should you buy the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+?

The Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are the company's current flagships in the S-lineup. The price cut comes at a time when the Galaxy S24 series is gearing up to debut in a few days.

The phones are very well equipped to last a year or two and the company is also offering enough software support for customers to consider them even today. Among the vanilla and the Plus versions, we suggest you go with the latter considering you have the budget. The advantages here are a bigger capacity battery and a large display.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is powerful enough to run everything you throw at it. Even today we see premium phones gearing up with the same chipset. Samsung optics are also quite good, especially in good lighting conditions. The low-light mode is also quite good, now at the discounted price.
