Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Moon shot not the same anymore
According to a post on X by tipster Ice Universe, Samsung seems to have removed the AI Moon feature from the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This is said to have happened after Samsung rolled out the One UI 6.0 update. The tipster also shared an image of the moon captured by his Galaxy S23 Ultra to show that the feature isn’t working. It isn’t officially confirmed though if Samsung has actually removed it.
if you go through the replies, there are some users who say that the feature is still working on their S23 Ultra. Some shared camera samples as well to show that the AI moon is still available on the device. It maybe that the feature isn’t working for some users but Samsung is yet to address it. There’s also no update from the tipster on this issue.
Samsung One UI 6.0 update
The One UI 6.0 update is a major one since it brings the latest Android 14 OS to Samsung phones. The update is also baked with AI features similar to what Apple and Google also offer. One of these is ‘AI Image Clipping’ that lets you cut objects from a photo and turn them into stickers. You can also resize the sticker after pasting them on another image.
The Galaxy Enhance-X app is also updated with photo-editing tools like sharpening older photos, and new AI features such as ‘Sky Guide’ that can identify constellations and stars from night sky photos.
One UI 6.0 update has started rolling out to several Samsung devices from the flagship to the mid-range segments.
