Samsung will have another ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event this year, probably in the second half and this will witness the launch of new foldables, S-series tablets and more. The company is also expected to launch the Galaxy Ring at the same event. Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event timeline (expected)

According to X user Anthony, the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will be held in July this year.  The exact date is yet to be revealed. The company appears to be sticking to the July timeline from last year.

  • At the ‘Unpacked’ event, the South Korean giant will unveil the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Watch 7 series, and a new Samsung Service.
  • The company will also finally launch the Galaxy Ring at the event which might eventually hit stores shortly after.
  • The Samsung Galaxy Ring was shown at MWC 2024 and comes with a metallic build. The wearable is also expected to integrate the Galaxy AI features.

The design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 was recently revealed through leaked patent images. This suggested the phone might arrive with a wider cover screen and square borders. A recent leak showed there might not be an S Pen slot but will arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 batteries have bagged the BIS certification, suggesting India launch is on the cards.

Beyond the foldables, the tipster says Samsung will also debut the Galaxy Tab S10 series and the Galaxy XR headset and this will take on Apple Vision Pro, which launched in the US recently.  This could be manufactured in association with Google. Qualcomm also confirmed the presence of the new Snapdragon XR2 Plus Gen 2 inside the upcoming XR headset. There are chances it could be the Galaxy XR headset.
