Samsung is starting to roll out the next generation of its Android skin, One UI. The One UI 5 software is initially rolling out for Samsung Galaxy S22 devices, and now the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update is set to come to the Samsung foldable devices next month. According to Samsung’s timeline, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Z Fold3, Flip3, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S20 series, and many more devices will get the One UI 5 update next month, in November. The Samsung Galaxy S22 series including Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have started receiving the One UI 5 update. Apart from Samsung flagships from the last two years, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, Tab S8 Ultra, and along with the Galaxy Tab S7 series will also get the Android 13-based One UI 5 update.

Coming to mid-range devices, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G will get the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in November, alongside the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G. In December, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 and Galaxy Z Flip/ Flip 5G will also get the One UI 5 update, alongside the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, Samsung Galaxy S7 FE, Galaxy S6 Lite, Galaxy A52s 5G, Galaxy A42 5G, and the Samsung Galaxy A32.

In January 2023, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 and A7 Lite will get the One UI 5 update. Further, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, Galaxy A23, Galaxy A12, Galaxy M12, and the Galaxy X Cover 5 will get the Android 13 update in January. In February 2023, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro will get the Android 13-based update. Here is the full month-wise list of devices that will get One UI 5 till February 2023.

One phone that is missing from the list is the popular Samsung Galaxy S21 FE that was launched last year. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is the company’s affordable flagship and was launched as a toned-down version of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. Its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is on the list and will get the update in December 2022 itself.

Samsung is bringing the Android 13-based One UI update on its devices, about a couple of months after Google rolled out the final Android 13 build. Samsung is one of the quickest brands to bring Android 13 on its devices, and promises the maximum number of Android OS and security updates at 4 years and 5 years, respectively.
