Tecno launched the POVA 5 and POVA 5 Pro smartphones in India last September. Both phones are priced under Rs 20,000, and cater to the budget segment. It looks like Tecno is now planning to launch the successor to the POVA 5 series. Tecno POVA 6 Pro has been spotted on the Google Play Console database. The listing reveals key details about the new Tecno phone, and a glimpse of its possible design as well.

- Tecno POVA 6 Pro 5G has been listed on the Google Play Console database confirming the phone’s imminent launch.
- The listing reveals the Tecno POVA 6 Pro will feature a FHD display (1080 x 2436 pixels) with 480 DPI.
- The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek MT6833V chipset, which is the
MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC paired with Mali G57 GPU, and 12.2GB of RAM. - On the software front, Tecno POVA 6 Pro will run Android 14 out-of-the-box.
- There’s a device render as well but we can’t make much out of it. The power key and volume buttons are visible on the right side. The phone is also seen with curved edges, and a tall display.
Tecno is yet to reveal anything official on the upcoming POVA 6 Pro smartphone. We’re expecting to hear more about it soon. The POVA 6 Pro would succeed the POVA 5 Pro that’s available in India for a starting price of Rs 14,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It’s also the first Tecno phone to feature an LED-light design at the back. The design reminds one of the Glyph Interface on the Nothing Phone (2).
