Vivo has entered the European market, including France, Germany, Poland, Spain, and the UK, with the launch of X51 5G, Y70, Y20s, and Y11s smartphones. The former is a rebrand of the Vivo X50 Pro, while the Vivo Y70 seems to be a variant of Vivo V20 SE with improved optics, including a 48MP primary sensor. The Vivo Y20s looks to be a stripped-down version of the current Vivo Y20. Additionally, Vivo also confirmed it has teamed up with UEFA for the Euro 2020 Championship that’ll kick off in mid-2021. The company is also said to be in talks with local carriers and retailers to launch more phones. Interestingly, the European models come with near-stock Android skin.

Vivo X51 5G specifications

Vivo X51 5G sports a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and punch-hole design. It is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC paired with 8GB + 256GB storage that should be further expandable. The phone has a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and boots Android 10 OS out of the box. The Vivo X51 has quad-cameras at the back with a 48MP primary sensor with gimbal OIS, an 8MP periscope lens with OIS, a 13MP portrait lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. A 4,315mAh battery with 33W fast charging support fuels the phone. It is up for purchase in the UK and is priced at £749 (approx Rs 72,100).

Vivo Y70 sports a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio and waterdrop notch. It is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable. The phone runs on Android 10 OS out of the box and packs a 4,100mAh battery with 33W charging support. As for optics, the Vivo Y70 packs a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The Vivo Y70 is priced at £279 (around Rs 26,900).

Vivo Y20s sports a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a teardrop notch and is powered by the Snapdragon 460 SoC coupled with either 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone has triple cameras at the back with a 13MP primary sensor and a couple of 2MP sensors. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. A 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support fuels the phone. The Vivo Y20s is priced at £149 (around Rs 14,400). Lastly, the Vivo Y11s has dual cameras at the back with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. It packs 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. Other specifications are identical to Y20s.
