The V40 SE 5G sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED Display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits brightness and up to 1800 nits HDR brightness. The handset measures 158.3 x 73.1 x 7.79 mm and weighs 185.5 grams.

Under the hood, the Vivo phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno GPU. The chipset is coupled with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage, further expandable via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 custom skin out of the box.

The Vivo V40 SE features a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. You get a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
