Vivo X Fold 3 series price in China, availability
The Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro are available in several configurations with different storage and colour options in China.
The 12GB/256GB model of the X Fold 3 is priced at CNY 6,999 (approx Rs 80,677), the 16GB/256GB variant is launched for CNY 7,499 (around Rs 86,440), 16GB/512GB variant has a price tag of CNY 7,999 (approx Rs 93,668), and 16GB/1TB model comes at CNY 8,999 (around Rs Rs 105,378).
On the other hand, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro comes in two configurations – the 16GB/512GB storage variant is priced at CNY 9,999 (approx Rs 115,260), and the 16GB/1TB model comes at CNY 10,999 (around Rs 126,788).
The Vivo X Fold 3 series comes in Solar White and Eclipse Black colour options. These devices are currently up for sale on the company’s online store in China. Shipping is scheduled to commence by the end of the month.
Vivo X Fold 3 series specifications
The Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro boast an ultra-thin design with a sturdy body, featuring SGS Gold Label Five-Star Glass Drop Resistance, UTG super tough glass for durability, and a carbon fiber ultra-durable lightweight hinge.
They feature an 8.03-inch display with a resolution of 2480×2200 pixels. Both screens utilize AMOLED LTPO technology with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and offering features like Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for vibrant visuals.
Both devices are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, with the Vivo X Fold 3 equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS4.0 storage. The phones operate on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.
The vanilla model includes a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP portrait camera. On the other hand, the Pro variant has a 50MP Ultra Sensing OIS main camera, a 64MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens, along with a V3 Imaging Chip. They both feature a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.The new generation foldable phones slightly differ in terms of battery, as the Vivo X Fold 3 comes with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 80W flash charging. Meanwhile, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is equipped with a 5,700mAh battery supporting 100W flash charging and 50W wireless flash charging.
Connectivity features include dual 5G support, Bluetooth v5.3, WiFi-7, dual-SIM 5G capability, IR Blaster, and NFC. Both devices also feature advanced fingerprint recognition technology, with the X Fold 3 Pro incorporating a 3D ultrasonic dual-screen fingerprint sensor and the X Fold 3 featuring a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
It is worth mentioning that out of the two phones, the vanilla Vivo X Fold 3 will reportedly be launched in India in the coming weeks. However, the exact date hasn’t been announced yet.
