Vivo Watch 2 has officially been teased ahead of its imminent launch in China on December 22nd. Vivo has officially taken the wraps off the upcoming Vivo Watch 2 and has given us an insight into what the watch could look like. The Vivo Watch 2 dons a circular dial and follows a simplistic design aesthetic and also features two silicone strap options – Black and White. Vivo has also gone on to mention some features on the Vivo Watch 2, which includes a seven-day battery life on a single charge as well as independent connectivity likely an eSIM support.

Vivo Watch 2: Expected price

Vivo Watch 2 is currently live on Vivo China’s website for pre-booking. Pricing for the smartwatch, however, has not yet been revealed. Leaks and rumours suggest that two variants of the smartwatch will be available – A Bluetooth-only version and an eSIM variant. The Bluetooth variant is expected to be priced at CNY 1,299 (approx Rs. 15,500) while the eSIM version could wear a price tag of CNY 1,699 (approx Rs. 20,300). The Vivo Watch 2 is expected to come in a single 46mm case size unlike the previous generation Vivo Watch which was available in 42mm and 46mm case sizes.

Vivo Watch 2: Expected specifications 

Vivo Watch 2 has been teased officially ahead of the December 22nd launch, which discloses some key design features of the upcoming smartwatch. The Vivo Watch 2 inherits a circular dial design and the case design follows a minimalistic approach. Two silicone straps are visible on the teaser image – Black and White. Other colour options for the straps might be on the cards too. Previous leaks also suggest a leather strap, however, it has not been shown in the official imagery of the product yet. The case sizes for the previous generation Vivo Watch measured 46mm and 42mm however recent leaks for the Vivo Watch 2 suggest a sole 46mm case size. 

Other than the official image of the Vivo Watch 2 on Weibo, Vivo has also disclosed that the Vivo Watch 2 will feature a seven-day long battery life on a single charge. The smartwatch is also likely to get eSIM functionality as Vivo highlights independent communication. It is expected that the upcoming Vivo Watch 2 will also benefit from a 5ATM pressure rating water resistance and will pack in a 510mAh battery.
