Vivo’s X90 series launch date is November 22nd. We already saw what the X90 family members could look like through leaked renders and learned their crucial specifications. Now, days after the top-of-the-line Vivo X90 series member visited Geekbench and revealed its specifications, the vanilla model has now made an appearance with model number V2241A. Thanks to this visit, we now know what the Vivo X90 will have in store for us.
Vivo X90 Geekbench listing
The Vivo X90‘s model listed on Geekbench packs a 12GB RAM and the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. It has secured an impressive 1,353 points in single-core and 4,055 points in the multi-core tests. These scores are pretty close to the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered Vivo X90 Pro+’s Geekbench score of 1,485 and 4,739 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
The phone spotted on the listing runs on Android 13, likely OriginOS 3 for Chinese units and Funtouch OS for the global variants. A previous leak suggests it will come with a Zeiss camera lens, the all-new Vivo V2 ISP chip (via), and a 1-inch sensor for the primary shooter. There will be a quad rear camera setup for photography needs, and a punch-hole front-facing snapper will take care of selfies and video calling requirements.
Vivo X90 will be available in a red colour option with a leather-like texture on the rear panel with the words ‘Xtreme Imagination’ and ‘Vivo | Zeiss co-engineered’ written across a black strip. It will come with a thin-bezel curved display. We expect to learn more about the smartphone in the coming days leading up to the launch event via official teasers and leaks.
