Affected users were unable to send and receive messages, images, and videos on the messaging platform.

According to DownDetector.in, nearly 6,000 users have reported facing issues on WhatsApp across several parts of India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Kolkata. India seems to be the most affected by this WhatsApp outage as the issue is far less severe in the US.
