The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to be unveiled soon, although the company has not disclosed the official launch date yet. However, leaks and speculations about the smartphones in the series – Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro – have already begun circulating online.
A new report hints at the potential launch timeline for both phones. At the same time, their RAM and production details have also been tipped by some tipsters. Take a look at them.
Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro launch details
- According to a report from Xiaomiui, the company will likely unveil the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro in China in the first week of November, which was revealed via MIUI 15 Codebase.
- Xiaomi is also said to be testing MIUI 15, which is based on Android 14, for these upcoming flagship smartphones.
- The report also mentioned the software version for the forthcoming flagship devices, namely V15.0.0.1.UNCEUXM and V15.0.0.1.UNBEUXM.
- On the other hand, tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has disclosed that Xiaomi has initiated the manufacturing process for the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro in China.
- The production for the flagship devices commenced at the end of August, and the manufacturer has boosted production capacity by as much as 60 percent to fulfill the demand.
Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro RAM details
- Another tipster said there will be no 8GB+128GB variant. In fact, the phones will start with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
- According to the tipster, customers can purchase a 12GB variant at the cost of the 8GB version.
Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro specifications (expected)
- The company hasn’t revealed any specifications of both phones officially, but the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are expected to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
- The Xiaomi 14 is expected to house a 4,860mAh battery with 90W fast charging technology. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will likely offer a 5,000mAh battery, either with 90W or 120W charging technology.
- Both phones will support 50W wireless charging technology and will run MIUI 15 based on Android 14.
- It should be noted that these details are based on leaks and speculations and the company is yet to reveal official information about these phones in the coming weeks.
