Xiaomi 14 series is set to launch in China today at 7 pm CST or 4.30 pm IST. It would be live-streamed on Xiaomi China and Weibo.com. You can download a VPN to stream the event.

Xiaomi 14 specifications: what to expect?

• Display: From the official renders and promotional images shared by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun on Weibo, we know Xiaomi 14 has a 6.36-inch screen with extremely thin bezels of about 1.61mm on the top and around 1.71mm on the bottom. These are thinner than what we have on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro.
  
  
  
  As per previous rumours, this screen is an AMOLED panel with 12-bit colours, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. 
  
  Meanwhile, the Pro model is rumoured to come with a larger 6.6-inch flat AMOLED 2.5D display with 2K resolution, 3000nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate.

• Processor: The Xiaomi 14 series phones are the first with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset clocking a max frequency of 3.2GHz.
• Cameras: Xiaomi has confirmed the Xiaomi 14 will sport a Leica Summulix lens. The primary camera underneath is tipped to be a 50MP Omnivision OV50H sensor. This could be accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide shooter and a 50MP telephoto snapper.
  
  
  
  As for the Xiaomi 14 Pro, we could get to see a 50.3MP 1-inch-type Sony IMX989 sensor within a punch hole. 
• Colours: The Xioami 14 series could come in white, black(grey), green, and pink colours. 

• Software: Xiaomi 14 series phones will be the first to ship with HyperOS software.
• Memory: The Xiaomi 14 is expected to feature up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
• Battery: The Xiaomi 14 could carry a 4,600mAh battery inside with 90W fast charging support and 50W wireless charging support.
  
  Xiaomi 14 Pro could have a bigger 4,860mAh battery with a faster 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
