Verdict: If you are in the market looking for a laptop under Rs 60,000 and are looking for a laptop that is good in performance, ightweight and sturdy, and portable, you cannot go wrong with this one. At this time, there is no laptop in India that can compete with what Infinix is offering at this price.

Verdict: The ASUS Vivobook S 14, priced at Rs. 1,04,990, offers impressive performance with its vibrant OLED display and AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, excelling in multitasking and casual gaming. It provides over 10 hours of battery life, making it ideal for most users. While alternatives may offer longer battery life, they often compromise on performance or x86 dependability.

Verdict: Priced at Rs. 89,999, the Acer Swift 14 AI is a stylish ultrabook combining performance and excellent battery life. Its vibrant OLED display enhances visuals, while the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor efficiently handles tasks. Though not the most powerful, the chipset delivers reliable performance with standout battery longevity, making it a solid choice for everyday use.

Verdict: The Lenovo LOQ is a solid choice for budget-conscious gamers and creatives who need decent performance without breaking the bank. Its NVIDIA RTX 3050 GPU delivers smooth gaming experiences in most modern titles at medium settings, and its 144Hz display is a standout feature in its price range.

Verdict: Offering a premium design, beautiful OLED display, and long battery life, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED 2024 is a compelling option. Powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor, this laptop promises robust performance for productivity, media, and lighter creative tasks.However, this doesn`t mean that it comes without its limitations. While gaming performance is decent for casual titles, it shows inferior performance in demanding games, likely due to software compatibility issues.

Verdict: For its price, the Colorful P15 offers great performance for 1080p gaming. The RTX 4050 GPU, which supports DLSS, makes it one of the strongest gaming laptops in its segment. There`s definitely room for improvement, but the laptop`s easy upgradability options make it possible. The value for money is only challenged by the lack of enough service centers, which might not be an issue for everyone based on their location.

Its integrated Arc graphics are sufficient for moderate gaming, including some older AAA titles. The lack of upgradability and its subpar speakers, however, are some notable drawbacks.

Verdict: The Vivobook S 14 OLED (2024) is built like a tank with its all-metal build which is MIL-STD-810H certified, in an elegant and classy design bringing fresh air to the notebook segment. It features a stunning OLED display, rock-solid battery life, and a capable AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS processor for moderate gaming. It can be your best companion as a compact laptop for official use, though I will not recommend using this for your professional online meetings.

Verdict: For its price, the Acer ALG AL15G-52 laptop delivers where it matters most and offers a good gaming experience at 1080p resolution. It also sports an elegant design, although leaves a bit to be desired in the ports and battery department. Regardless, for the price, the laptop gets a recommendation from us. 

Verdict: Building on the success of MagicBook X14, the Honor MagicBook X14 Pro caters to working professionals, with a light, thin, and portable laptop for daily needs. The 14-inch vibrant and anti-glare 2.2k display makes it perfect for prolonged working hours, and the decent battery backup will easily get you through your day. The Intel Core i5 13500H can handle strenuous multitasking that includes switching between communication apps, emails, and browsing, and can also run AAA gaming titles at moderate settings.

Verdict: The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i gets a lot right with a sharp 1200P OLED display, and excellent performance, in a sleek and elegant yet durable chassis. The spacious and backlit keyboard with a smooth touchpad, makes it a good choice for basic business purposes. While the audio is excellent, the lack of a high refresh rate display and average battery life feels disappointing, I wish the laptop offered a better webcam as well.

Verdict: The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i offers a reliable package that ticks most boxes, like a sharp, bright, and vibrant 14-inch display, and top-firing speakers, in an elegant and robust metal construction with a MIL-STD-810H rating. The performance is quite good for this price range, and can comfortably handle your daily tasks involving communication apps, emails, browsing, and light gaming. However, the average keyboard experience, average battery life, and lack of RAM upgradability are something you should keep in mind.

Verdict: The ASUS V16, priced at Rs. 85,000, offers a trade-off: decent performance for exceptional battery life. While gamers might find better value elsewhere with higher-wattage GPUs or older Intel chips, students and professionals will appreciate its long battery and understated design. It is a compromise, but a worthwhile one for those prioritizing portability and endurance over peak gaming performance.

Verdict: Infinix INBook Y4Max (2024) powered by Intel i3 1315U, a non-upgradable 16GB RAM, and an additional M.2 slot provides enough power to be a solid contender for the most value-for-money laptop in the sub Rs. 40,000 range. The bells and whistles from Infinix, like the aluminium chassis, and dual flash for the webcam, along with a thin and light form factor make it perfect for working professionals. However, the display is not something to binge-watch on.

Verdict: The Gigabyte G5 MF, priced at Rs 65,000, is an excellent choice for those prioritizing performance. Its superior gaming performance with the RTX 4050, robust CPU with additional e-cores, and comprehensive I/O ports make it a strong contender in its price range. 

Verdict: Tecno did a great job at its debut with the Tecno MegaBook T1 (2023). With its robust aluminium construction, and no flex yet lightweight design there is no room left for any doubt about the build quality. The included fingerprint scanner, FHD webcam, backlit keyboard, quick wakeup, and rock-solid battery life, secretly make it Evo-certified. Though the 11th-gen CPU does feel lacking and overpriced compared to the competition, also no room for upgradability is another bummer.

Verdict: ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is a solid performer with the AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS and Radeon RX 7600S. It holds up pretty well at any task you throw at it, be it video editing or any AAA title. Its 16-inch IPS display is vibrant and supports a 165Hz refresh rate, which gets the job done. It is not the best display for colour-accurate photo edits. Thermals are not good hot, we recommend running it at performance mode instead of turbo.

Verdict: For about Rs. 50,000, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 FX506HF-HN025W checks a lot of the crucial boxes for budget gamers. The display could have been better, but does work fine for most gaming needs. The performance is excellent considering the price, and while the battery life could have been better, it`s still a solid recommendation for a gaming laptop around the 50K price mark.

Verdict: A value-for-money portable laptop with a great OLED display and powerful 12-core CPU.
