Acer, Intel and Infinity Learn launch NEET-ready laptop preloaded with study material ahead of CBT transition

Highlights

Acer, Intel and Infinity Learn have partnered to introduce what they claim is India’s first integrated ecosystem designed to help students prepare for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in its upcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. As part of the collaboration, the companies have launched the country’s first “NEET Ready Laptop”.

The initiative comes ahead of NEET’s expected transition to a computer-based examination from 2027. The companies say the new offering aims to help students prepare not only academically but also become familiar with digital test-taking.

The solution combines Acer Aspire laptops powered by Intel processors with Infinity Learn’s AI-based NEET preparation platform. The laptops come preloaded with study resources, including live and recorded classes, mock tests, adaptive practice modules, AI Mentor AINA, performance analytics and a CBT simulation designed to mirror the expected exam environment.

According to the companies, the collaboration is intended to address the digital readiness gap among NEET aspirants, particularly those from Tier 2, Tier 3 and rural regions where access to personal computing devices is comparatively lower. More than 22 lakh students appear for NEET every year, making it India’s largest undergraduate medical entrance examination.

The integrated CBT simulation allows students to practice under timed conditions, track their progress through performance analytics and receive personalised recommendations to improve their scores. The companies believe this will help students become comfortable with the digital exam format before the actual test.

Acer said the partnership reflects the growing role of computing devices in education as competitive exams move online. Intel highlighted the need for reliable hardware capable of supporting AI-assisted learning, while Infinity Learn said the goal is to ensure that students are prepared for both the academic and digital aspects of the exam.

The NEET Ready Laptop will be available exclusively through Flipkart. The companies said EMI options will start at Rs 2,500 per month, with the aim of making the bundled hardware and learning platform more accessible to students preparing for NEET 2027.
