Amitabh Bachchan's role was initially supposed to be a guest appearance but it was later expanded.
During Rajnikanth's death scene, there is a part when he beats up Kader Khan. During that part, Bappi Lahiri recreated Vance McCoys song " Do The Hustle" for the background music. Its a small part lasting only a few seconds.
Only movie featuring three all time legends Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth (extended cameo) in the same movie. However, Kamal Haasan only appeared with Amitabh Bachchan, not Rajnikant.
The song and direction of Yaaron Pe Kurbaan Hone Yaar Aaye Hain was inspired by Feroz Khan and Vinod Khanna's song Qurbani Qurbani from Qurbani.
