Rotten TomatoesIt's not just a sensual love story in Lady Chatterley's Lover. Yes, there is some steamy infidelity, but the essential message which got lost in the decades-long scandal that followed the book is that body and mind integration is a way to reconnect to our most fundamental desires, and by doing so, perhaps heal the entire world. The film does justice to the novel and is beautifully made. The cast is excellent and all the actors have done a wonderful job portraying their respective characters. the intimate scenes are beautifully curated and the performances are so strong that you can actually feel the emptiness the characters feel and the intense emotions that develop. The setting of the film is also pleasing to the eyes. There isn't a dull moment in the film. The film keeps the viewers engaged until the very end. what starts as an illicit affair actually turns out to be a wholesome relationship.
