Supply Chain analyst Jeff Pu of Haitong International Securities who previously claimed the iPhone 14 Pro will come with 6GB of RAM has now corroborated with the new information. It was earlier reported that the iPhone 14 and the iPhone Max will come with 6GB RAM and 120Hz LTPO display. This makes sense considering Apple would want to give the Pro models extra RAM to make the difference quite evident. If you’re wondering, the iPhone 13 Pro models ship with 6GB of RAM.
The iPhone 14 Pro is said to come with a 48MP camera, which is the highest pixel sensor featured on an iPhone yet. It is also rumoured the iPhone 14 series will be making a switch to eSIM only models, thereby removing another port from the iPhones. iPhone 14 series is also expected to bring design changes, specifically to the front portion. They’re said to come with two smaller cutouts, one in a traditional punch-hole shape and the other in a pill shape. The iPhone 14 series will have at least three models: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. There might not be a mini version this time around considering the poor reception in major markets.
