Ubisoft has kicked off the Assassin’s Creed Origins free weekend, which was announced during the recent Assassin’s Creed 15th Anniversary Celebration stream. As part of the celebration, Ubisoft is allowing players to play Assassin’s Creed Origins for free this weekend on several platforms. Considering that the main campaign is almost 8 hours long, players can possibly finish it during the free weekend if they don’t spend time exploring the world or focusing on a lot of side missions. That being said, the XP grind in Assassin’s Creed Origins can hold some players back. Assassin’s Creed Origins will be free to play until 11:30 PM on June 20th.

- Search for Assassin’s Creed Origins and click on the Free Trial option
- When the trial page opens, click on the Get button to begin downloading Assassin’s Creed Origins

- Open Ubisoft Connect app or download it here
- Log in with your Ubisoft Connect account or create a new one
- Head over to the ‘Play Assassin’s Creed Origins for Free’ tab and click on the Play Now button

- Open the Xbox Store on your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One
- Go to the Subscription tab and head over to the Xbox Live Gold section
- Click on the See all button and go to the Free Play Days section
- Select Assassin’s Creed Origins and click on Install to begin downloading the game
