ASUS ROG Phone 7: everything we expect
The ASUS ROG Phone 7, according to Brar’s post, will be priced between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000. To be sure, this does not come as any surprise, since the ROG Phone 6, its predecessor, was launched at Rs 71,999 — in exactly the same price bracket that Brar has tipped the new phone to be. However, this also keeps the room open for the ROG Phone 7 to be incrementally more expensive, although it is unclear if this will happen or not.

₹70-80k segment
Most supply chain reports have stated that prices of chips and components are down right now, driven by weak consumer spending on discretionary gadgets. As a result, any price hike by ASUS for the ROG Phone 7 series will either come down to new and significantly more expensive components inside, or a higher profit margin for the company and its retailers.
Going by the expected specifications sheet that Brar also posted alongside the pricing, it seems unlikely that the ASUS ROG Phone 7 will be drastically different from its predecessor. The device is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 12GB or 16GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB of storage, a 50MP triple rear camera with OIS (including a 13MP ultrawide unit), a 32MP front camera, and a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
ASUS is also expected to launch Pro and Ultimate variants of the ROG Phone 7, and it remains to be seen how the latter stack up above the vanilla variant.
