Bounce will be launching its Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter on Flipkart today. The e-commerce platform, from now onwards, will serve as a marketplace for ordering the e-scooter. The Bounce Infinity E1 will become the company’s first product on Flipkart’s website. The new initiative is aimed at reaching out to its customers in five cities across India in its initial stage.
Bounce Infinity E1 uses a swappable 2KWhr 48V battery pack that enables 85km of riding range. The battery is combined with a BLDC electric motor and can go up to a top speed of 65kmph. The battery charges in four hours, and the vehicle gets an LCD instrument cluster and LED lighting set up and five colour options.
Bounce Infinity E1 price, Flipkart availability
The Bounce Infinity E1 e-scooter will be one of the first electric scooters to be sold on Flipkart. The scooter will be available for sale in five cities across India at first. The cities will be Delhi, Gujarat, Telangana State, and Maharashtra.
Bounce and Flipkart’s venture promises delivery of the e-scooter at the doorstep of the customer in 15 days. A Bounce dealership nearby the customer will reach out to the customer soon after a booking is made. The personnel at the Bounce dealership will then guide and help customers with availing insurance for the vehicle as well as get RTO registrations done. A Bounce Infinity Customer Experience team will also be set up to help deliver real-time tracking updates to the customers.
Bounce Infinity E1 is available across multiple locations in India and is price as per the following:
- Delhi – Rs 68,999 (ex-showroom)
- Gujarat – Rs 59,999 (ex-showroom)
- Maharashtra – Rs 69,999 (ex-showroom)
- Rajasthan – Rs 72,999 (ex-showroom)
- Karnataka – Rs 68,999 (ex-showroom)
- All other states – Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom)
The price is also dependent on the subscription model the customer selects. There are two subscription models to choose from – BAAS 1 or BAAS 2. These models offer battery as a subscription and utilises Bounce’s growing battery swapping network. Bounce is also capable of reducing the cost of ownership of the scooter as per the following structure:
BAAS1 plan
- Delhi – Rs 56,999
- Gujarat – Rs 47,999
- Maharashtra – Rs 57,999
- Rajasthan – Rs 60,999
- Karnataka – Rs 56,999
- All other states – Rs 67,999
Over the initial cost, customers are expected to bear a recurring subscription plan:
- Battery-as-a-Service Monthly Subscription – Rs 849
- Price per swap – Rs 35
This brings the effective price per KM down to Rs 0.65.
