Highlights
  • CMF by Nothing has teased a new product launch.
  • The teaser is a confusing one making everyone wonder what product it actually is.
  • But it seems to be a neckband, which was also spotted recently on the BIS certification site.

Nothing’s sub-brand CMF debuted last year in September with three new products. It launched the CMF Buds Pro, CMF Watch Pro, and the Power 65W GaN charger, all priced in the budget segment. CMF by Nothing has now teased a new product leaving everyone wondering what exactly is it.

CMF by Nothing teases new product

CMF by Nothing shared a post on X saying, “Something new is coming soon.” It’s definitely something new as the teaser image isn’t exactly clear about what product it is. Even the replies below the post show that everyone else is equally confused. But the general consensus seems to be a wireless neckband.

This teaser also comes shortly after a ‘Nothing Neckband Pro’ was spotted on TDRA and BIS. The listing revealed a neckband, and that it will be launched under the CMF brand.

This is one product CMF hasn’t launched yet, and it makes sense considering the brand’s strategy so far to cater to the budget segment. More specifically, this looks like the part that connects the headphones together, and sits on the side of your neck. There are buttons on the device, and what looks like a speaker as well.

Some other interesting guesses include a pen or thermometer but these products seem too far off from Nothing and CMF’s current product portfolio. It’s still an interesting tease, and one that will surely grab everyone’s attention. Hopefully, the product will be as interesting as the teaser. We should get more details about the new CMF product soon.

Nothing is also expected to launch a new smartphone soon. Carl Pei teased and confirmed a new smartphone earlier this month. If rumours are to be believed, it should be the Nothing Phone (2a) that has been showing up on leaks. This one’s going to be a cheaper version of the flagship Nothing Phone (2) but one that is seen with a similar Glyph Interface.
