Google Pixel 8a launch seems to be inching closer considering the numerous leaks that keep surfacing every other day. A new leak now gives us another look at the Pixel 8a’s design and colour options. Pixel 8a will be the more affordable version of the flagship Pixel 8a series.
Google Pixel 8a design, colour options leaked
- In a fresh set of leaked images shared by Evan Blass, we get a good look at the Pixel 8a from the front, back and side.
- The smartphone will come in four colour options: Bay (blue), Mint (green), Obsidian (black), and Porcelain (white/beige).
- It has a punch-hole display with rounded sides as opposed to the flat edges on the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro.
- The rear camera module is the same with the thick horizontal strap at the back housing two sensors and an LED flash.
- The power button and volume keys are on the right side of the phone. Overall the Pixel 8a looks compact, which should be good for people who want a small-sized phone.

- Pixel 8a could feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1400 nits peak brightness.
- The smartphone could be powered by the Google Tensor G3 chipset, the same one that’s available in the flagship Pixel 8 series.
- It is expected to launch in two variants with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage variants.
- The Pixel 8a is tipped to house a 64MP primary camera with OIS, and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. It could house a 13MP front camera for selfies.
- The phone is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging support.
- On the software front, the Pixel 8a will most likely run Android 14 out of the box.
Pixel 8a’s price has also been tipped to cost $705 (Rs 42,800 approx) for the base 128GB variant and $790 (Rs 48,000 approx) for the 256GB variant. In India, the Pixel 8a is tipped to cost around Rs 1,000-2,000 more than the Pixel 7a, which launched at a starting price of Rs 43,999.
