Key takeaways

As evident from the specifications, the Vivo V29 keeps its focus on having an elegant design, superior cameras, and complete protection in the form of dust and water resistance. As said, the Himalayan design looks quite attractive and the red colour is also a head turner. Vivo has spoken at length about the cameras on the Vivo V29 and they should have no problem satisfying any age group audience.

However, performance-wise, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, though quite capable, is a bit dated for today’s standard and slightly falls short of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC on the Nord 3. However, the cameras on the OnePlus phone are quite decent and are not as versatile as the Vivo ones.

So, if performance is not what you are looking for, the Vivo V29 should be the way to go. You also get Android 13 OS, 80W fast charging support, and an IP68 rating.
