Dyson has announced the launch of its noise-cancelling headphones ‘Dyson Zone’ in India. The London-based company plans to bring its first-ever noise-cancelling headphones in India on October 4th. Dyson Zone also doubles as an air purifier as it comes with a detachable visor that continuously provides purified air.
It isn’t confirmed if the detachable air purifying visor will be available as well. The headphones can be purchased without the visor in markets where it’s available. Dyson debuted its noise-cancelling headphones in select markets last year.

In terms of pricing, Dyson Zone sells for $949 (Rs 78,900 approx), while the bundled air purifying visor comes for $999 (Rs 83,100 approx). In India too, the Dyson Zone headphones are expected to be priced steeply, and one that might even go beyond the Apple AirPods Max.
Dyson Zone specifications, features
- Dyson Zone is equipped with 10 microphones in total with eight for ANC and two for voice and ambient mode.
- The wireless headphones have 40mm drivers that should provide a balanced mix of bass, mids, and highs.
- It comes in a blue and silver colour combination with micro-suede cushions on the earcups. Overall, the design does stand out from other existing noise-cancelling headphones in the market.
- The visor is removable and doesn’t touch your face. It has a two-stage, sealed filtration system that is designed to remove city fumes. Dyson says it also removes 99 percent of ultrafine pollutants to deliver purified air.
- In terms of battery life, it’s claimed to run for up to 50 hours with ANC turned on. If you have air purification and ANC turned out, it should last you up to four hours.
- You can pair the headphones with the MyDyson app, and access sound controls to adjust the noise cancellation, and audio equaliser. The app is available on both Android and iOS.
