Upcoming itel smartphone specifications 

The upcoming affordable smartphone, which has not been named, will feature a 6.6-inch HD display which is expected to offer top-notch performance. In terms of battery, the smartphone will pack a 6,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support as mentioned earlier, making it a segment-first in the sub-Rs 8,000 category.

According to a recent consumer survey by Counterpoint Research, itel has established itself as a preferred brand among first-time handset buyers in the sub-Rs 8,000 segment, where it has emerged as the leader in the entry-level smartphone market.

Itel recently made headlines by announcing Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan as its brand ambassador. Itel hasn’t said which products Hrithik will promote, but his inclusion in their marketing plan may be a sign of this potential launch.

itel tablet launched in India

This month, the company launched the itel Pad 1 tablet with a 10.1-inch display with slim bezels. It sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP camera on the front with a flash. The tablet is powered by the SC9863A1 Octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 12 (Go Edition) and packs a 6000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
