Flipkart user ordered an iPhone 13 during Big Billion Days sale, claims he received an iPhone 14

According to a Twitter user Ashwin Hegde, who goes by the name @DigitalSphereT, a Flipkart user who follows him ordered a blue iPhone 13 128GB variant during the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale. However, when he received his new iPhone, it turned out to be an iPhone 14 instead. The tweet also shows a screenshot of the order details page on Flipkart, along with an image of the iPhone 14’s box, showing the name of the smartphone.

Now, he may be one of the luckiest Flipkart customers we have heard of in recent times, we were not able to independently verify the authenticity of the tweet. Flipkart has not responded to the development, and we were not able to locate the affected (read lucky) user who received the iPhone 14 instead of iPhone 13.

The Apple iPhone 13 was selling for a price of less than Rs 50,000 during the initial days of the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale. In the screenshot shared by the Twitter user, the iPhone 13 order shows a total price of Rs 49,019. The Apple iPhone 13 deal on Flipkart was the most talked-about deal during the festive season sales, with thousands of people ordering the iPhone 13 for under or around Rs 50,000.

With the iPhone 13 selling for its lowest-ever price during the Flipkart sale, everyone wanted to get their hands on the iPhone 13 during the sale, resulting in a slew of orders for the iPhone. However, many users reported that Flipkart cancelled their iPhone 13 order soon after they placed it during the Big Billion Days sale.

The iPhone 14 was launched last month during Apple’s ‘Far Out’ event where the company also launched the Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch Ultra, and a new Apple Watch SE. The iPhone 14 comes with minor upgrades over the iPhone 13. There is a new version of the Apple A15 Bionic chipset with a 5-core GPU. Further, the iPhone 14 offers a bigger battery, a bigger camera sensor, and more RAM, as compared to the vanilla iPhone 13.
