Netflix is releasing a major title today starring Gal Gadot and Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt. Heart of Stone is an action movie where Gadot plays as a secret agent onscreen, and even as the producer offscreen. This is Netflix’s latest big-budget action movie that has a lot riding on it with big names, and big stunts that the trailer showed us.

Heart of Stone is releasing globally on Netflix today. There’s no specific time mentioned but it should be available to stream in a few hours. You can go to Netflix and hit the ‘Remind Me’ button so that you get a notification whenever the movie drops.
Heart of Stone trailer, plot
The first trailer for Heart of Stone was released at Netflix’s Tudum event in Brazil. The almost three-minute trailer shows a heavily action-packed movie with very similar themes to Mission Impossible. Gadot plays secret agent Rachel Stone who like every other secret agent has to live a life without friends, family and relationships.
Stone is part of an organisation called the ‘Charter’ that houses the most highly trained agents. Netflix describes the Charter as “an elusive and mysterious group of elite spies”. The Charter’s job is to maintain world peace with, “no political leanings, and national allegiances.” ‘The Heart of Stone’ here refers to well, a literal object that basically controls how the Charter functions. This is where Alia Bhatt (Keya Dhawan) makes her entry as the person who steals the Heart, and the chase begins to retrieve it from her.

In addition to Gal Gadot and Alia Bhatt, Heart of Stone also stars Jamie Dornan (Parker) who takes the role of the the leader of Stone’s MI6 team. Bhatt who plays Keya Dhawan is actually a ‘mysterious hacker’ whose goal is to steal the Heart and control it. Then there’s Matthias Schweighöfer, Charter’s tech specialist with the codename “Jack of Hearts”. Oscar nominated Sophie Okonedo also stars in the movie playing the role of Nomad, the “King of Hearts”.
