• The technical specifications guide sheet of the Pixel 8a was shared on X by tipster Mystery Lupin.
• According to this leak, the Pixel 8a will feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels resolution) with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 2,000 nits maximum brightness, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. 
• As rumoured, the Pixel 8a will be powered by the Google Tensor G3 chipset paired with the Titan M2 security chip. The smartphone will launch with 8GB LPDDR5x RAM + 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. 
• It is also tipped to pack a 4,492mAh battery with Qi-certified wireless charging. According to the spec sheet, the Pixel 8a should last for over 24 hours and up to 72 hours with an ultra battery saver mode. 
• In terms of cameras, the Pixel 8a will feature a 64MP wide-angle sensor with EIS and OIS, and a 13MP ultra-wide camera at the back. For selfies, it will house a 13MP ultra-wide front camera. It will also have AI-based camera features such as Magic touch-up, Magic eraser, and Magic audio eraser.

The Pixel 8a will also come with an under-display fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6E, and a USB Type-C port. The Pixel 8a will likely launch in four colour options: Obsidian, Porcelain, Bay, and Mint. There might be an orange colour variant as well. The smartphone has also been tipped to feature an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

Google is yet to announce the launch date for the Pixel 8a. It’s hosting the Google I/O conference on May 14th which is when we might see the Pixel 8a. Google is expected to bring the Pixel 8a to India around the same time.
