Rockstar has finally revealed the India price of GTA 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The upgraded version of GTA 5 offers better performance and graphics over last-gen consoles like PS4 and Xbox One. The new edition of GTA 5 is set to release on March 15. Unlike many games like Far Cry 6 and Cyberpunk 2077, the current-gen version upgrade of GTA 5 isn’t free. However, PS5 owners do get free access to GTA online for a limited time. The game is also available at a discounted price on both PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store.

GTA 5 is currently 50 percent off until June 14, 2022, and it comes with GTA 5: Story Mode and GTA Online. The Xbox Series X|S version of GTA 5 costs Rs 1,399 right now. After June 14, the price will increase to Rs 2,799. You can pre-order the game here.
GTA 5 PS5 India price
Although the official price of GTA 5 PS5 version isn’t listed on the website yet, it’s expected to be the same as the Xbox Series X|S version. According to IGN, the game is expected to be 75 percent off until June 14. This suggests the price of GTA 5 PS5 edition could be Rs 699 for a limited time. However, it is recommended to wait until the game’s listing is live on the website. Along with these, PS5 owners get access to the GTA online standalone version until June 14. The pre-order page for GTA 5 PS5 version is expected to go live soon.

Both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of GTA 5 are available to pre-load as soon as you purchase them, and the game will be unlocked on March 15. The “enhanced and expanded” edition of GTA 5 comes with support for up to 4K resolution at up to 60 fps, ray tracing, HDR, improved textures, faster load times, and spatial audio. The new version owners also get exclusive access to Hao’s Special Works in Los Santos Car Meet with new upgrades and modifications as well as the new Career Builder. Players who migrate story mode progress from GTA 5 PS4 or Xbox One will be rewarded with a fully converted Karin S95, Hao’s Special Work racing outfit, and Chameleon paint.
The pricing and content offered in the new edition may come as a disappointment to some GTA 5 fans. Many players are disappointed that a game that launched in the PS3, Xbox 360 era is a premium purchase on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, especially for players who have been playing for years. Others have claimed that the new edition should have more exclusive content.
