Honor is aiming to make a resounding comeback in India and the first product it chose to launch is the Honor 90. Madhav Sheth, who once led the Realme India division, will take charge of the Honor India division. Now, ahead of the rumoured September debut, Honor 90 has bagged the BIS certification with the model number REA-NX9. This suggests the launch is not that far away.

Honor 90 certified to launch in India

The BIS listing, as spotted by Mukul Sharma, doesn’t reveal much about the phone except for the Honor branding and the model number.
Since the BIS certification is out of the way, we can expect Honor to start teasing the phone on its social media handles.
Madhav Sheth confirmed the Honor 90 in India will come with Google apps like Maps, Chrome and others.
Honor 90 will get two major OS upgrades and three years of security patches. There won’t be any bloatware apps pre-installed.
There are rumours the Honor 90 price in India will be around Rs 40,000.
