There wasn’t much that happened this week in tech but it was more of a build up on upcoming products. We got to know about a cheaper Galaxy Z Flip/Fold that might be in the works. Details on upcoming phones such as the OnePlus 12 and Honor 90 were leaked. We also came across new information on the iPhone 15 series and its colour options. There was one major launch event in India this week, and it was the Redmi 11 series.

Galaxy Z Flip/Fold FE
Samsung could launch a cheaper foldable that will be a lighter version of either the Flip or Fold. The ‘Galaxy Z FE’ will be a lighter version of the flagship foldables in terms of specifications, features and design. But it’s still expected to offer a flagship-like experience. The launch, however, is said to take place only after next year’s foldables so we still have a lot of time before we see the Galaxy Z FE.
Honor 90 India price, launch timeline tipped
Honor is making a comeback in the Indian smartphone business under the leadership of Madhav Sheth. The first phone under this relaunch is expected to be the Honor 90 that has already made its debut in China. In India, the Honor 90 will reportedly cost around Rs 35,000, and its launch is tipped to take place around mid-September.
New iPhone 15 Pro colours
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are tipped to come in a titanium finish as opposed to the stainless steel. The Pro models are said to feature slimmer bezels. With a new titanium body, Apple is also planning to introduce new colours of Titan Gray, and dark blue. With these, Apple will also replace gold and purple colours. The new dark blue is also said to be the special colour of the year.
OnePlus 12 specs
The OnePlus 12 is becoming a regular on the rumour mill even though its expected launch is months away. This time, specifications of the OnePlus 12 and these include a 2K curved display, and 16GB/24GB RAM with up 1TB of storage. The leak also suggests the OnePlus 12 will feature a 50MP SonyIMX9 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 64MP 3x periscope camera. The smartphone is also tipped to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Realme 11 5G, Realme 11x 5G launched in India
Realme 11 5G and 11x 5G are the latest phones from the brand’s number series. Realme 11 5G comes in two variants with a starting price of Rs 18,999. Realme 11x 5G is cheaper with a starting price of Rs 14,999. Both phones offer a similar set of specifications including a 120Hz display, the Dimensity 6100+ SoC, a 5,000mAh battery, and up to 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology. Realme 11 5G and 11x 5G also offer a premium design with a flat punch-hole display, and curved edges like the newer iPhones.
