Honor Magic V2 foldable phone has been launched in China officially. The new foldable from Honor sets a new standard with a weight of just 231 grams and a folded thickness of 9.9mm, which makes it the slimmest foldable launched till date. It surpasses the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, which previously was the thinnest foldable phone, measuring 11.2mm when folded and weighing 262 grams.

The Honor Magic V2 brings the thinnest dual Silicon-carbon batteries- measuring only 2.72mm on average. The flagship foldable ships with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC, 66W fast charging support, and a 50MP primary camera sensor.

The Honor Magic V2 is priced at RMB 8,999 (approx Rs 1,03,000) for the 16GB RAM and 256GB model.
The 16GB RAM and 512GB model costs RMB 9,999 (around Rs 1,14,400)
Honor Magic V2 Ultimate Edition with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant costs RMB 11999 (around Rs 137,300 approx.)

Honor Magic V2 specifications

External screen: There is a 6.43-inch LTPO display with 2376 × 1060 pixels, 91.2% Screen-to-body ratio, up to 2500 nits, 402 PPI, and Stylus support.
Processor: The Honor foldable is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with Adreno GPU for graphics.
RAM and Storage: 16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB. There is a 16GB/1TB storage option for the Honor Magic V2 Ultimate Edition.
OS: The phone runs on Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 custom skin out of the box.
Cameras: There is a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with OIS and macro option, and a 20MP telephoto camera with OIS and Honor AI Motion Sensing Capture
