OnePlus Open Android 14 update details
The company has confirmed on its community forum that the latest build, labeled CPH2551_14.0.0.400(EX01), will be gradually delivered via OTA to users in other regions. It brings several notable enhancements to the OnePlus device, as outlined in the official changelog:
- The update has introduced the Aqua Dynamics feature that enables interaction with morphing forms to conveniently access up-to-date information at a glance.
- The new update also brings File Dock, facilitating drag-and-drop content transfer between apps and devices.
- It implements Content Extraction, allowing users to recognise and extract text and images from the screen with a single tap.
- There is a new Smart Cutout feature that is capable of separating multiple subjects in a photo from the background for copying or sharing.
- The update enhances Shelf with additional widget recommendations.
- It improves photo and video-related permission management for enhanced security and enhances system stability, app launch speed, and animation smoothness.
- The new update has added Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and revamped system notification sounds and it also enhances system animations for even smoother transitions.
- Additionally, it introduces a carbon tracking Always-On Display (AOD) that visualises the carbon emissions saved by choosing to walk instead of driving.

- To update, users must ensure their phones are on the detectable version CPH2551_13.2.0.301.
- Users who haven’t received the update notification can manually check by going to Settings > About device > Tap “up to date” > Select icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow the steps to apply > Check for updates.
- The company advises maintaining a battery level above 30 percent and having a minimum of 5GB storage available before proceeding with the update.
