Step 1: Firstly, head over to the Election Commission of India’s official election website
Step 2: Now scroll down and select ‘Search Your Name in Electoral Roll‘
Step 3: You have three options to search for your name in the electoral list – via EPIC number, personal details, and mobile number. Select one per your preference
Step 4: Now proceed to enter the details in the required fields. For instance, if you select ‘Search by Mobile number‘, fill in your State, mobile number, and the captcha

Do I need to carry a physical Voter ID card or an e-voter ID will suffice when voting?
Voting is possible even without a physical voter ID, as long as the individual’s name is registered in the Election Commission’s electoral poll, which is the voting list. Voters can opt for a different polling station by filling form 8A which can be found in the Voters Helpline app. After downloading and logging in to the app, select the ‘Voter Registration’ option.
