HP, India’s top laptop maker by market share, on Thursday unveiled its latest generation of gaing laptops under the HP Omen and HP Victus ranges, in line with 91mobiles’ exclusive report. The HP Omen 16 series comes in two variants — a standard Omen 16 variant, and a higher specced Omen Transcend 16. All the laptops run on 13th gen Intel chips, and use at least Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 in their top variants. The company also launched a 27-inch QHD gaming monitor alongside the three new laptop models, which will also be available alongside the new, 2023 lineup of HP gaming laptops.

HP Omen 16 and others: price and availability

All of the new HP Omen 16 and Victus 16 laptops are available across online and offline stores now, giving the option to buy these 2023 gaming laptop models right away. HP is yet to mention any offers linked to the laptops. In terms of pricing, they are:

  • HP Omen Transcend 16: Rs 1,59,999 onward

HP Omen 16

The HP Omen 16 is the balanced unit out of the two, but bring a limited set of specifications to India in comparison to its US range of choices. Its overall feature set includes a new fan design for cooling, automatic power optimisation with HP Gaming Hub, a full HD built-in camera, and more. Its spec sheet includes:

HP also claimed in a press statement that the Transcend 16 is the brand’s “thinnest and lightest gaming PC with strong performance capabilities” — measuring 2.1kg in weight and 19.9mm in thickness.

It gets three colour options, including one that HP calls ‘performance blue’.
