The Infinix Hot 40i sports a 6.6-inch HD+ display with 1612 x 720 pixels resolution, 480 nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Powering the phone is the Unisoc T606 processor with Mali G57 MP1 GPU.
The chipset is paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB storage, which could be further expandable via a microSD card. There's support for 8GB virtual RAM support as well. The phone runs on Android 13-based XOS 13 custom skin out of the box.
The Infinix Hot 40i features a 50MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and an AI secondary lens with quad-LED flash. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
