iPhone SE 4 case design

  • A leaked image spotted on Weibo gives us an idea of the iPhone SE 4’s design, revealing an iPhone 14-like notch. This is a big upgrade over the older iPhone 8-like design of the previous SE models.
  • This also confirms the removal of the Touch ID button making way for Face ID on the iPhone SE 4. It will be the first in the series to feature Face ID.
  • The leaked case also shows flat edges for the iPhone SE 4 giving it a more modern look, and one that was much needed. So now, even with an affordable price tag, the iPhone SE 4 will look more like the newer models.
  • At the back, the iPhone SE 4 has a single rear camera sitting in the top-left corner. The power button is on the right side, while the silent button and volume keys are on the left side.

The new leak corroborates the iPhone SE 4’s design that was revealed through CAD renders last month. According to this leak, the iPhone SE 4 will feature a 6.1-inch display, most likely an OLED panel sourced from Chinese display supplier, BOE. It will also feature a notch size similar to the iPhone 13/14 series.

It will also house a single primary camera at the back, which could be a 48MP sensor. Some rumours even suggest an Action Button and a USB-C port for the iPhone SE 4, which would be another major upgrade as well.

The iPhone SE hasn’t been renewed since 2022 but there are multiple rumours about a new generation. A recent leak revealing Apple’s roadmap said that the iPhone SE 4 will debut in 2025 so we might not see one even this year.
