  • Citing sources, a report from ZDNet Korea suggests that BOE has secured the contract to produce OLED displays for the rumoured iPhone SE 4.
  • BOE is expected to supply the majority of OLED displays for the iPhone SE 4 after Samsung withdrew from the bidding process due to concerns about profitability.
  • Samsung Display offered to sell the panels for the iPhone SE 4 at $30 (about Rs 2,500) each, while Chinese companies proposed prices ranging from $35 to $40 (approx Rs 2,900 to Rs 3,300) per panel.
  • However, the US-based tech giant reportedly asked for an even lower price of $25 (around Rs 2,000) per panel.
  • The iPhone SE 4 is also rumoured to feature a design similar to the iPhone 14 and include support for Face ID.

The device’s dimensions are speculated to be 147.7 x 71.5 x 7.7mm. Additionally, the phone might feature an Action Button and a USB-C port, while its battery capacity is anticipated to be the same as the iPhone 14.
